Happy Birthday Jesus!

McWayne Center Fun

While in Birmingham, we went to the McWayne Science Center. We played in fake snow, pulled pulleys, slid down Clifford's tail, and slid down the giant slide.  Bella had a blast and Lilly had fun playing at home with Grann and Papa.  Brian had lots of fun making himself alien-like.

Christmas in Birmingham

We had a wonderful fun filled week at Grann and Papa's house! The girls had so much fun visiting with family and mama and daddy enjoyed being able to rest and relax.  In the neighborhood that Grann and Papa live in, there is a fire truck that goes through the neighborhood with the lights on and the siren. And guess who is on the truck-Santa Claus!  Grann, Bella, and Lilly waited on the porch steps for the fire truck to pass by the house. Bella and Lilly loved watching the movie Polar Express while hiding under the covers! Bella and Everett were like two peas in a pod that whole week.  Both are having Bella and Everett withdrawals! 

Family Christmas

Before leaving for Birmingham, we had our family Christmas. The girls loved their new gifts! Bella was super excited to open her new movie! Brian loved opening his gift from the girls too! It was a pirate ship that Isabella had picked out just for him.

 

Visit with Santa

This was Lilly's first visit with Santa Claus. You can tell by her face that it was not a pleasant experience for her!  Bella did not mind at all and actually enjoyed sitting on his lap.  But she sure stayed far away from the Santa that was at the mall. This picture was with the Santa at Chick-fil-a.

Ringing the Bell

 Ringing the bell has become a tradition for our family that Brian and Ashley started when we were first married.  It is something that Isabella looks forward to doing and loves doing!  Lilly enjoyed ringing the bell too.  Both girls loved seeing all the people walk by and put some money in the kettle.

Some friends from our Sunday school class, Ginny, Austin, and Cassidy came to ring the bell with us.  We all had a fun time ringing and staying warm!
