What Fun We Had

That's my girl!! I am so glad that she was not afraid to hold the snail! The snail was not the only wildlife we saw-we also saw several bucks, does, and fawns.  There was even a doe and two baby fawns that rested and spent the whole day in the yard at Gigi and Papa's house.  It was beautiful to see! We had such a wonderful time in New Mexico! We are so glad that we got to see Jackson and Bryson!  God sure has blessed us with handsome boys and beautiful girls!

Outside Fun

 We all enjoyed playing outside on the front porch, watching the deer walk by, blow bubbles, and dig in the dirt. in the first picture, Lilly loved watching and trying to pop the bubbles. Where's Bella? in the second picture-she fits exactly behind Bryson in the second picture, and Steph found a snail that all three cousins showed quite an interest in!  While we were there, temps were in the 80s during the day and in the uppers 50s to lower 60s at night.  Little to no humidity! Mama loved it!!!

Jackson, Bryson, and Bella enjoyed painting with water colors, Lilly loved eating her cereal in the high chair that mama used, and aren't Bryson and Lilly son photo genetic?!

So Pretty

Auntie Sara and Gigi held Lilly every chance they got. Lilly of course obliged and enjoyed it!

Fox Cave

Fox Cave is a "junk" gift shop inside a cave.  It was open when Gigi was a little girl, closed, and recently re-opened.  The kids really enjoyed seeing an actual cave, but wanted to go deeper in it than what is allowed. Bella posed with an alien in the gift shop part of the cave and all three cousins posed for a picture behind bars! Lilly enjoyed sleeping in the truck with Papa!

Water Fun

While in Ruidoso, we went to the city pool and had a blast! Jackson and Bryson loved sliding down the big slide with Steph and Sara while Lilly and Bella had fun kicking in the water. Bella did great floating, kicking, and blowing bubbles in the big pool and in the kiddie pool.  Lilly really loved it-she would just kick and kick her feet, coo, and she had the biggest smile on her face! Fun was had by all-we were there for three hours! And yes, Lilly stayed in the water that whole time-that is how much she loved it!

Fun at Gigi and Papa's

After we left Moms's, we went up to the mountains to  Ruidoso, New Mexico where Gigi and Papa live.  While here, Lilly enjoyed playing with Papa, Bella enjoyed making shapes out of beads with Jackson, and all three enjoyed using stamps.  Steph (the sitter that came with Sara to help drive and keep up with the four) loved having her hair fixed.  Bryson and Bella could be hair stylist and Jackson can take care of the pedicures;).

Lilly got a kick out the kisses she shared with Janie.  What a beautiful picture of three beautiful, smart, and talented women.

First and Second Cousins

While we were visiting Moms, Auntie Sara, Steph, Jackson, and Bryson were visiting Gigi and Papa.  They came down to Moms's on Monday and Tuesday. Bella loved seeing her cousins! We also got to see Aidan and Liam-the girl's second cousins. It was so wonderful that mama's cousin Amanda drove from Texas to New Mexico to visit family! We all had a blast playing together and will have to do it again!Of course we took advantage of all six great grandchildren being together and took a great picture with Moms!  Thanks Allen and Janie for the fun times! We love you!

The day before we left Mom's, we drove to Hobbs to spend the day with Allen and Janie.  We had a ball.  All six cousins and second cousins played inside and outside while the adults visited.  And of course there was eating!

Making Memories

While at Mom's, several people came over for dinner and visiting.  It was so awesome to have a house full of kids and adults! It brought back great memories for mama!  In one picture, Aidan is teaching Bella how to swing on the door, in another picture Jackson is playing with Lilly, Bryson and Steph are singing the theme song to Doc McStuffins in the "microphone, and finally everyone posed for a picture and of course Bella turned the other way!

Fun with Troy and Alice

Troy and Alice live very close to Moms, so we saw them often while we visited Moms. Lilly of coursed loved being held and Bella enjoyed having Alice wrestle with her and tickle her.  Thanks Troy and Alice for the fun! We love you both!

Giving Kisses

Moms was holding Lilly and Lilly was getting hungry, so Lilly went for Moms's neck and began sucking.  The funny part is the hickey she left on Moms's neck once she was done! That girl does some serious sucking!

American Idol, here I come!

Bella got creative and decided to use Moms's walking stick as a microphone. She sang us "Jesus Loves Me," "ABCs," "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Jesus Loves the Little Children." We got a kick out of watching her-check out the facial expression!

Fun with Moms

During the first of July, we took a plane to New Mexico to visit great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Our first stop, fun at moms's house-the girls great grandma.  We had lots of fun playing Scrabble while the girls slept, Moms loved rocking and holding Lilly and playing with Bella.  We had bunches of fun making sweet memories!  Thanks Moms for a wonderful visit! We love you!
