Water, water everywhere

While Isabella enjoyed the game much more than the zoo, she did like slashing her hands around in a tub full of toys and water.

Play a song for us Mr. Piano Man

I wonder if Isabella has considered a career in the music industry?

Future batgirl

Isabella had a ball at the game. In addition to watching the game and people, Isabella enjoyed spending time in the play area (which also included a room full of free baseball video games for kids of all ages). She's taking a break from a few innings of serious playing.

Daddy, do I know that man?

Isabella really enjoyed her first Major League Baseball game. She especially liked people watching, such as the rather happy group sitting behind us.

Momma, I wanna see the big bird

Ashley was all smiles but Isabella had other ideas. She was trying to focus her attention on the big screen that displayed a flashing red bird.

View from our seats

This is a view from our seats, though the camera is zoomed in a little bit. The game was the closest I've ever sat during a Major League Baseball game.

Chillin 15 rows up

When we walked inside Busch Stadium a Cardinals employee asked where our seats were located. After I told him they were in the top deck, he offered us seats down closer - way down closer. Here we are, 15 rows up from the great St. Louis first baseman Albert Pujols. Too bad my Nationals lost but the amazing seats made my evening.

You lookin at me?

You lookin at me? You lookin at me? I don't see anyone else around here, so you must be lookin at me.

Isabella's first Major League Baseball game

Isabella made it through six innings at the Nationals game. But she was ready to play in the Cardinals' play area for the duration of the seventh through ninth innings.
