Easter Party #2 Continued....
On the left, Isabella and Matt were knocking eggs. For those who do not know what this is (I didn't know either, until Kristi told me), each person takes an egg and knocks them together. Whatever egg cracks first is the loser. Isabella and Matt did several eggs and enjoyed it! On the right, Isabella is petting the dog while Nathan is holding it. We had to remind Isabella to use gentle touches!
Easter Party #2
On Saturday, our friends Kristi and Scott and their boys Nathan and Matt invited us over to her mom's house for another Easter party. Before heading over there, we dyed some eggs at home. Isabella loved it! It was a good thing she was stripped down to her diaper because she got messy! Once we were at the party, Isabella played on the jumper that was a water slide. She down the first time with Mr. Scott and did not want to go down again. She had a lot of fun playing in the water that gathered at the bottom of the slide though. Toward the end of the party, she went down the slide a couple of times with mama and then was ready to go on her own! She loved it:)!! The eggs that she dyed earlier, she found and put in her basket. It was a fun afternoon!
Easter Party #1
Crawfish Boil with Friends
Isabella experienced her first crawfish boil a few weekends ago. Some friends of ours invited use to her grandparents for a crawish boil. Isabella had fun on the hammock, sitting in a small chair, and riding on the car with Nathan. He did the steering while Isabella enjoyed being escorted around!
This was also the weekend that Isabella stepped into an ant hill and got bit several times on the feet. She broke out in hives on her tummy. Thank God for children's Benadryl! About an hour after taking that, the hives went away and she was left with some ithcy feet!

I see a squatty potty in the future:)
When I caught Isabella doing this, I just had to take a picture. Her doing this took me back to the time I spent in Africa sharing Jesus. She will be a pro at using a squatty potty over there! When she is older and is able to understand and appreciate the culture, we will all go as a family to Africa to visit and share Jesus.
I hear the train a comin....
Doesn't this just make you laugh?
On this particular night, Isabella insisted on wearing the socks on her hands to sleep. I had Brian get a picture. I thought it was so silly and sweet.
A week after Grann and Papa B came to visit, Gigi and Papa came to spend the week with us. It was such a blessing to have them here. Gigi helped mama out at home and school and Papa helped us out with some things around the house. Unfortunately, we stayed so busy that I didn't get the time to get pictures. From sun up to sun down we were nonstop going going going. Thanks again for coming Gigi and Papa! It was soo good to see you and we love you!
We are blessed to have such wonderful sets of grandparents on both sides who would come a long way to see all of us. We love you all!
