Mardi Gras Gator

I am off for Mardi Gras today and tomorrow. I went with a couple other teachers I work with to an art studio. We paid money and followed a person as she painted. The alligator was from a template. Everyone pretty much did whatever with the rest of the alligator. Mine has beads and a hat. It turned out pretty good for being my first time and no artistic ability! Although none of the workers really commented on it.

We went this past weekend to an indoor playroom for kids. There are a bunch of inflatable slides, video games, etc..., and party areas. It is a lot of fun! Isabella loved it and mama and daddy really loved that she got in free:). We met some friends of ours, Matt and Nathan enjoyed going on all the slides with Isabella (on the left)! Isabella

Reading with Mimi and a Big Girl Bed

Mimi enjoyed reading books with Isabella and laughing with her anytime she could. On the left, we put up Isabella's big girl bed this weekend too. She loves to sleep with a bed of stuffed animals and her other bed was cramped and she did not have a lot of room to stretch out. So we put together Brian's old twin bed and hung up her quilt that Moms (her great grandma) made her. She loves her new bed! Once we laid her in it for the first time, she woke up, looked around and smiled the biggest smile, laid down and went back to sleep. For all concerned parents and grandparents, there are rails on both sides of her bed to keep her safe!

New Pjs and some Fun

While Aunt Suzie and Mimi were here visiting this past weekend, Isabella got somew new pjs that she just loved! We could not pass up the froggy pajamas! Isabella loved showing them off for the camera! On the right, Isabella got a hold of some Vaseline and rubbed it all over her arms, legs, face and hair. She had a bath, and woke up with soft skin and oily hair! Oh how we got a big laugh out of this!

Lawn Mower Ride

Isabella waited until Brian finished mowing the lawn to get on it and ride with him. The blade was off and Brian was very careful! Isabella loved riding on the lawn mower!

Car Fun

Isabella got a Little Tykes riding car from Grann and Papa B at Christmas time and we finally got it put together, or Aunt Suzie did I should say! You should have seen her face when she opened the box and saw all of the pieces to put together! After much patience from Isabella and Aunt Suzie, it was finally put together! Isabella loves riding in it! Thank you Grann and Papa B for the car and thanks Aunt Suzie for putting it together!

Valentine's Day 2011

On Valentine's Day Isabella looked so cute in her pink heart dress, tights, and bow. She had so many cute Valentine's outfits, that we celebrated the day all week by wearing one a day! Thanks Aunt Suzie for the heart dress and thanks Moms for the polka-dotted shirt/dress. I love them both!
