Reading with Mimi and a Big Girl Bed

Mimi enjoyed reading books with Isabella and laughing with her anytime she could. On the left, we put up Isabella's big girl bed this weekend too. She loves to sleep with a bed of stuffed animals and her other bed was cramped and she did not have a lot of room to stretch out. So we put together Brian's old twin bed and hung up her quilt that Moms (her great grandma) made her. She loves her new bed! Once we laid her in it for the first time, she woke up, looked around and smiled the biggest smile, laid down and went back to sleep. For all concerned parents and grandparents, there are rails on both sides of her bed to keep her safe!

New Pjs and some Fun

While Aunt Suzie and Mimi were here visiting this past weekend, Isabella got somew new pjs that she just loved! We could not pass up the froggy pajamas! Isabella loved showing them off for the camera! On the right, Isabella got a hold of some Vaseline and rubbed it all over her arms, legs, face and hair. She had a bath, and woke up with soft skin and oily hair! Oh how we got a big laugh out of this!

Lawn Mower Ride

Isabella waited until Brian finished mowing the lawn to get on it and ride with him. The blade was off and Brian was very careful! Isabella loved riding on the lawn mower!

Car Fun

Isabella got a Little Tykes riding car from Grann and Papa B at Christmas time and we finally got it put together, or Aunt Suzie did I should say! You should have seen her face when she opened the box and saw all of the pieces to put together! After much patience from Isabella and Aunt Suzie, it was finally put together! Isabella loves riding in it! Thank you Grann and Papa B for the car and thanks Aunt Suzie for putting it together!

Valentine's Day 2011

On Valentine's Day Isabella looked so cute in her pink heart dress, tights, and bow. She had so many cute Valentine's outfits, that we celebrated the day all week by wearing one a day! Thanks Aunt Suzie for the heart dress and thanks Moms for the polka-dotted shirt/dress. I love them both!

Fire Prevention Night at Chick-Fil-A

Isabella loved walking through the fire truck and playing with the cow. She was not scared of it at all and she loved wearing the fire hat!

Ice Storm Feb. 2011

Late Thursday night/early Friday morning, we got some ice. This is a picture of a tree next door to us. There were several power outages, and no school (yipeee)! Praise God we did not loose power and were able to stay warm.

Over the past couple of weeks while Isabella was at school (daycare), they made pictures of themselves. I had to laugh and share it when I saw it-Isabella put her eyes on the side of her head, and her nose on ther heart. She also gave herself white hair. The smil seems to be in the right spot for the most part. I hope you get a smile/laugh out of it too!

Isabella loves the Peppermint Chocolate Chip milkshakes from Chik-Fil-A, just like Mama. She loves it when we share!! The picture on the left is the dress Janie in AL gave her. She would not

keep the bow in her hair though. She looks so beautiful!!

The seal shirt is from Grann. Grann brought it back after her and Papa B returned from Canada over the summer. She loves it and looks so good in pink!

Not a day goes by that I cannot believe how big she is getting! What an adventure we are having and loving every minute of it!

Final Pics-Christmas in AL

Papa B and Grann (Mama Jo) kept Isabella and I company at the airport before we got on the plane. Isabella was wore out after about 20 minutes of a temper tantrum on the airplane. We had a great visit!

Christmas in AL

Alright Gigi, Isabella finally left this hat on long enough for me to take a picture! She is so cute!! On the right, here she is with Janie Howell. Janie brought her a pretty dress to wear!

Christmas Con't....

Papa B took Isabella out to Chik-fil-A several times while we were there. It was a fun time for her and her Papa B. Isabella was so busy, she would not let Grann hold her. When I got her to sleep at nights, I would pass her over to Grann so she could hold this precious little one who is getting so big!

Christmas Con't....

Isabella loved chasing after Uncle B and Aunt Jo Jo's dog, she never caught her though, Abi was scared of her and never let Isabella catch her! Isabella loved riding on the carousel with Aunt Jo Jo for the seond time! She loved playing with Mimi and she warmed up immediately with Kim (Kim and her husband KC are good friends). Which tells me that Kim is going to make a great Mama:). Isabella also loved playing with Kim's hair.

Christmas in AL Con't...

Isabella loved watching the snow fall on Christmas Day with her Aunt Suzie. Brian loved holding his new nephew, Everett. Isabella got jealous when either Brian or I would hold him.

Train Ride

While at the mall, we learned that they had a train going around the front of a department store. Isabella and daddy loved it! Choo Choo!!

First Carousel Ride

While in AL, Isabella rode the carousel for the first time with Grann. At first, she was not too sure of it-she was crying. But once it started going around and around, she loved it and I think Grann did too!

Christmas in AL

We spent Christmas in AL this past year. We all had a good time. We even had snow:)!! Brian stayed a couple of days and Isabella and I got to stay a few extra days.
