Her favorite things....

Isabella reaches and grabs for several things at 2 months. She loves to kick and grab at anything that is daggling on her playmat. There is a smiling flower on it and she just loves to talk, hit, and smile at it. She also loves to reach for her pooh blanket and hold to her cheek. Her other favorite thing is her hand-she loves to suck on her knuckles!!

Focused on Daddy

The past several days, Isabella has not been able to take her eyes off of her daddy. She just watches him and smiles or talks. How sweet:)!

First bottle

Mama and Isabella enjoyed the visit to NM, but were glad to be back home. Daddy was glad to have his girls back too. In order to get ready for mama going back to school and Isabella going to daycare, we wanted to be sure she could and would be alright with a bottle. So, daddy gave Isabella her first bottle the other night. She took it fine, although she would just look at daddy with a look that said "what is my milk in and why is daddy giving it to me? " Isabella has also been sleeping through the night more. Time is going by so fast. But we are enjoying every minute of it!

Gigi and Isabella

Whenever Isabella was not held by someone else, Gigi would jump at the chance to love on her. Isabella enjoyed every minute of the time spent with Gigi and the love that she poured out on her. Just look at that smile-she was so content everytime Gigi was near! We love you Gigi and thanks for having us!

Papa, Isabella, and Mama

Papa loved Isabella. He loved holding her, walking her, playing with her on her mat, and rocking her when she was in her bouncy seat. Isabella loved her papa too! She would just smile and talk to him! See you soon papa!

Auntie Sara and cousin Jackson

Auntie Sara loved on Isabella every chance she got. If Isabella was with her, Jackson had to be too. He is protective of his mom! Auntie Sara did great sharing herself with both her niece and her son. Isabella told me that she loved you and that you are the greatest! She also loved the songs you sung with her and can't wait to see you again soon! Love ya

Cousin Jackson

I could never get Jackson by Isabella for a picture, but here is Jackson psoing by himself for the camera. Upon first meeting Isabella, jackson wanted nothing to do with her. By the middle to end of the week, he was helping to carry the carseat, playing with her on her playmat and bouncy seat, or just giving her little love pats on the head. He also was saying his aunt's name too:). Isabella would just smile so big at her cousin everytime she saw him. See you again soon Jackson and we love you!

With my Uncle Jon

Mama managed to get a picture of uncle Jon with Isabella before her cousin Jackson got too upset. I think Isabella just woke up from her morning nap. It was great to see you uncle Jon and we will see you again soon!

Uncle Skippy and Isabella

Like Uncle DJ, Uncle Skippy fell in love with Isabella when he saw her for the first time. Both uncle and niece are tired here. It was great to see you uncle skippy and we look forward to riding in your new car the next time we see you:)!! Love you!!

Izzy and Uncle DJ

Uncle DJ fell in love with Isabella when he first saw her. He just loves this little girl and will call her "Izzy" for short. I guess then Isabella can start calling him uncle boggie:). We love you DJ and are so glad that you came to NM and loved on Isabella. We can't wait to see you again!!

Beth has the touch

Just like her mom, Beth managed to get Isabella to sleep for awhile. Isabella was so comfortable with you both and safe, she felt comfortable enough to sleep. it was great to see you Beth! Thanks for coming!!

Great Aunt Alice

Alice fell in love with Isabella and held her every chance she got. Isabella was so content there in her lap, that she took a two hour nap one day. Isabella is loved by so many! It was great to see you Alice!!

More Family

Mama was so glad that Allen, Janie, Brandy, Amanda, and Aiden got to come in and meet Isabella. They fell in love with her and loved holding her and playing with her. We all agree that she is the cutest baby there is and so well behaved! She is a good baby and loved all the attention! We love you all!! Thanks for coming!!

Great Aunt Jane (you'll always be Janie to us:))

Isabella just loved having her diaper changed and playing with Janie. We had such a nice visit with her, Allen, Amanda, and Aiden.

First visit with Moms

Isabella and mom flew to NM to see some more family. Isabella did great on the plane and she just loved being held by her great-grandma, Moms. She looks so content there! We can't wait to see Moms again!

Here I am one day shy of six weeks old and am already trying to turn myself over!! I am almost there...I make it to my side!!

First Fourth of July

To celebrate America's Independence, we went over to some friends house for some wonderful hamburgers, hot dogs, pie, and fire works. We had a blast and enjoyed the visit!!

Can you believe this?....

Four generations all in one house! What a blessing God has given us to have four generations all together. Mama and Isabella are so glad daddy got to come for the weekend while we were in AL. Isn't this a great picture?!!

Me and Grandma (Mama Jo)

I just loved visiting with my Mama Jo! Her lap was so comfortable and she talked and sang a lot with me! Thanks for taking such good care of me while mama was sick on Monday! Thanks also for making sure my diapers always stayed dry and clean!

Having a heart to Heart with Grandpa (Papa B)

Isabella talked up a storm with Papa B one night after Mama Jo changed her. While we were in AL last week, Isabella began to smile a whole lot and often. This is just one of many smiles and talks shared with Papa B.

I just loved playing with my great grandma Mimi! I also loved it when she would hold me! I love you Mimi!!

Great Aunt and Uncle

Thanks Uncle Mark and Aunt Wanda for making the trip with four kids to come and see us in AL!! Isabella just loved getting to meet you and be held by you both! We love you!

All the cousins

While at Mama Jo's and Papa B's house, the cousins came to meet and visit Isabella and the rest of the family. How adorable they all look and don't you just laugh that not one is looking at the camera?! Starting from left to right you have Isabella, Finley, Grayson, Ella Katherine, and Ann-Hartley (forgive me if I have misspelled any names!)

What a great gift!

Isabella and Mama traveled to Birmingham last week to see family. Above is aunt Jo Jo holding Isabella while she was sporting a cute Ralph Lauren dress and bloomers that were a gift from her aunt Jo Jo. Isabella was definitely very stylish and oh so comfortable and cute!
